Austin, TX --- The Lady Rams volleyball team traveled across the highway to Concordia University-Texas for a tri-match with Region VI 9th ranked University of St. Thomas and the Tornadoes.
In the first match, the Lady Rams faced University of St. Thomas and had the opportunity to win all three sets but just didn’t close the match out losing 26-30, 25-30, and 25-30. The HT volleyball coaching staff has watched the team all season long get so close to a win but miss it by a few points. Coach Kaase says “We have a lot of raw talent on this team and are getting closer to smoothing out our rotation and defense.”

Setter Adrienne Ringer directed the offense spreading out 25 assists over 7 Lady Ram’s attackers. Libero Stephanie Castro helped out the offense with 5 ace serves and kept the Lady Rams in each set recording 19 digs with help from senior defensive specialist Lauren Westerman’s 14 digs.
