Houston --- The Rams baseball game on Friday was suspended due to bad weather and was continued on Saturday beginning in the fourth inning. The Rams came within one run before the Huskies of HBU won the first game 8-4. The second game was another close one with HBU on top 5-4.
Jeremy Macklin who led the Rams going 3 for 4 with 2 RBI’s, had help from Patrick Hines, Travis O’Donnell, and Jamal Carrington with 2 hits apiece.
In the second game, Macklin again led the Rams going 3 for 5 and this time Howard Limuel IV and Ro’Shard Shorter each had 2 hits to support the offense.
Recap of the Series: Macklin for the day ended up going 6 for 9 hitting .667 with 2 RBI’s, 2 doubles and 1 triple. Tony Enos added his third home run of the season.
Next Opponent: The Rams travel to Tyler, Texas to play the Steers of Texas College in a doubleheader on Friday, April 11 and a single game on Saturday, April 12, both days starting at 12:00 pm.
